The following letter has been sent out by Sean Hansen, IPSC Canada Regional Director with general information about World Shoot 2020 in Thailand:
Attention all IPSC BC Members
The 2020 World Shoots will be held in Thailand at the end of November 2020, as normal, we (IPSC Canada) will need to know if you are interested in a slot for the World Shoot if one is offered. Final decisions on slots will be made once we receive our slot allocation, but it is important to get your name in as soon as possible, we expect to award slots in December of this year. If you commit now to accept a slot if offered one, payment for that slot will be required immediately as IPSC Canada must submit payment immediately as well. Expect the slot to cost somewhere between $700 and $1000. Please understand that slots are limited. The first 20 slots are awarded to those on our teams, Open, Production, Classic, Standard and Production Optics. Previous World Shoots we received between 50 and 60 slots, but do not expect that many this year as there are more regions now which reduces the numbers available to any particular region. Slots will be awarded based on your best standings according to IPSC Canada and will be on a ratio per division, they are not awarded on a first come first serve basis. Please contact me directly on this at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Here is some information that we have already regarding the match:
If you wish a slot after reading all of this please send me your request, bearing in mind you will likely have less than 1 week to arrange payment once we get notified.
Sincerely,
Robert Engh
IPSC BC SC

We had some serious difficulty recovering from an error that prevented us from being displayed properly on Mobile Devices, and affected many web browsers. The short of it is that we are back online, albeit with some slight differences in how the page looks. There is a planned site upgrade in the near future, so it was determined that getting up a functional website was of key importance, and we'll be coming up with a newer look and feel for the new year. In the meantime, everything is back online, although there are a few tweaks that we will be working out.
If you see anything strange or unexpected, please let me know: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
