What is IPSC?

Match Squadding

As an IPSC match is composed of several different stages or events, competitors are often organized into squads of 7-20 shooters.   Squad members will

travel together from stage to stage, taking turns shooting each event. More importantly, though, squad members will often discuss plans, debrief after each stage or give each other advice or pointers.  They may also be required to tape targets or reset steel for other members of their squad.

Guns and Gear

Whether you are sporting the latest high tech race gear or stock, out of the box production, you can compete with others of similar gear.

Competition

Our competitions test accuracy and speed with high powered handguns. Running and gunning under the pressure of the clock is one of the great thrills in this sport!

Winners

Matches are the aggregate totals of points from several stages.  The key to success is consistency!  IPSCBC has produced more National Champions than any other province!
